Riverside and Avondale
The Blue Fish Restaurant and Oyster Bar is a seafood restaurant on St. Johns Avenue in Avondale. Its website lists Saturday and Sunday brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., alongside weekday lunch, dinner and a weekday happy hour. It also has a banquet dining room.
Homespun Kitchen on Oak Street in Riverside serves its full scratch-made menu for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, its Riverside page says, from 7 a.m. Monday to Saturday and from 9 a.m. Sunday.
River & Post on Riverside Avenue serves brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to its website. Reservations are for the first-floor dining room only; the rooftop lounge is first come, first served.
Southern Grounds runs cafes on St. Johns Avenue in Avondale and on Riverside Avenue, each open 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, per its locations page. You order at the counter and staff bring food to your table.
San Marco
Metro Diner’s Hendricks Avenue restaurant is its original location, serving since 1992, its San Marco page says. It serves breakfast all day.
Southern Grounds has a San Marco cafe at 1671 Atlantic Blvd., open 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
Taverna on San Marco Square serves what it calls modern interpretations of classic recipes and posts a separate brunch menu on its website. It opens at 10 a.m. Sunday and at 11 a.m. Tuesday to Saturday, and is closed Monday.
Southside and the Intracoastal
Whiskey Cake near St. Johns Town Center serves brunch Saturday and Sunday until 3 p.m., according to its brunch menu. Its Jacksonville page lists opening at 10 a.m. both weekend days.
Marker 32 on Beach Boulevard at the Intracoastal Waterway serves Sunday brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with dinner Monday to Saturday from 5 p.m., per its brunch page.
