Last checked Oct. 9, 2026. This page is updated each year at the same address. Sources: the City of Jacksonville’s JaxParks youth camps and JaxParks aquatics pages and the Duval County Public Schools calendar. The city had not posted its 2027 summer schedule when we checked, so every date and fee below is from summer 2026 and says so.
Summer break in Duval County starts after the last day of school, Friday, May 28, 2027. The city’s outdoor pools open on Memorial Day weekend, its splash pads open earlier in May and JaxParks summer camp runs in three sessions from mid-June. Here is how summer 2026 worked, from the city’s own pages; we will update the dates when the 2027 schedule is out.
