Ten breakfast and coffee places at 15 locations inside Jacksonville, in Riverside, Avondale, San Marco, Ortega, Baymeadows and Mandarin.

Last checked Oct. 10, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Jacksonville’s breakfast places and coffee shops cluster in the older neighborhoods by the river: Riverside and Avondale around Park Street, Stockton Street and St. Johns Avenue, and San Marco on Hendricks Avenue and Atlantic Boulevard. Farther out, there are cafes on Baymeadows Road, San Jose Boulevard in Mandarin and Atlantic and Beach boulevards on the east side.

How we made this list. We started with OpenStreetMap records inside Jacksonville’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, and checked every place against its own website on Oct. 10, 2026. Coffee and fast-food chains with dozens of stores in the city, such as Starbucks, Dunkin’ and Waffle House, are left out; their own store finders list them. Places outside the city, in Jacksonville Beach and Neptune Beach, are left out, as are places whose own site we could not reach. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to add or correct your entry.
