Where to get burgers in Jacksonville: Town Center, Southside and more

Jacksonville’s sit-down burger places gather around the St. Johns Town Center and the Southside offices along Baymeadows Road and Hodges Boulevard, with a burger joint on King Street in Riverside. The chains spread across the whole city, from San Jose Boulevard in Mandarin to Normandy Boulevard on the Westside and City Square Drive on the Northside.

How we made this list. We started with OpenStreetMap records inside Jacksonville’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, and added locations from the chains’ own store pages. Every place was checked against its own website on Oct. 10, 2026. Fast-food chains with dozens of stores in the city, such as McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Checkers and Krystal, are left out; their own store finders list them. Places whose own site we could not reach, or which do not name burgers on their own site, are left out too. The list is alphabetical. Culver’s on Hodges Boulevard serves ButterBurgers and frozen custard, its page says, with a lobby, curbside pickup and a drive-thru.

Five Guys has eight restaurants in the city, from the Northside at City Square Drive to Mandarin, Bartram Park, Oakleaf on Applecross Road and Ortega on Roosevelt Boulevard. Most stay open until 11 p.m. Thursday to Saturday.

Habit Burger & Grill on Baymeadows Road serves chargrilled burgers, salads and sandwiches, its page says, and has a drive-thru open the same hours as the dining room.

Hopdoddy Burger Bar at the St. Johns Town Center serves burgers and fries, with a happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday to Thursday, its page says.

Lola’s Burrito & Burger Joint on King Street in Riverside serves burgers alongside burritos, tacos and queso. Its site lists a weekday happy hour, team trivia and weekend mimosas.

Whataburger has nine restaurants in the city, on Normandy Boulevard, 103rd Street, Old Middleburg Road, Lenox Avenue, Philips Highway, Southside Boulevard, Beach Boulevard, San Jose Boulevard and Atlantic Boulevard. Its store pages list separate hours for the dining room and the drive-thru.
