Every Jacksonville eating list in one place: wings, pizza, tacos, barbecue, breakfast, burgers, sushi, ice cream, bakeries and patios.

Last checked Oct. 10, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Jacksonville is a big city to eat in. Many independent restaurants and cafes sit in the older neighborhoods by the St. Johns River, Riverside and Avondale, Five Points, Brooklyn and San Marco. The rest line the big roads: San Jose Boulevard in Mandarin, Baymeadows Road and the St. Johns Town Center on the Southside, Atlantic and Beach boulevards on the east side and Normandy, Blanding and Argyle Forest boulevards on the Westside. Each list below gives the places we could confirm in one category, with address, hours as the place publishes them, phone and its own link.

How we made these lists. Every list starts with OpenStreetMap records inside Jacksonville’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory. We added locations from restaurants’ own location pages and checked each place against its own website on Oct. 10, 2026. The city has far more restaurants than its websites let us confirm, so the lists grow at each refresh. Places in Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach, Orange Park and St. Johns County are outside the city and left off. Lists are alphabetical. They are not rankings or recommendations, and nobody paid to be on them. Places can write to us to be added or to correct an entry.

Frequently asked questions

Where are the restaurants in Jacksonville?

The older neighborhoods by the river, Riverside, Avondale, Five Points, Brooklyn and San Marco, hold many of the city’s independent restaurants and cafes. The big roads carry the rest: San Jose Boulevard in Mandarin, Baymeadows Road and the St. Johns Town Center on the Southside, Atlantic and Beach boulevards on the east side, and Normandy, Blanding and Argyle Forest boulevards on the Westside.

How are these Jacksonville restaurant lists put together?

Each list starts from OpenStreetMap records inside Jacksonville’s city limits, adds locations from the restaurants’ own location pages, and keeps only places whose own website gives a Jacksonville address. Lists are in alphabetical order, not a ranking, and nobody pays to be on them.

Do the lists include Jacksonville Beach and Orange Park?

No. Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach, Orange Park and St. Johns County are outside the city limits, so their restaurants are left off these lists.

How often are the lists updated?

Every three months. Restaurants can write to us at any time to be added or to correct an entry.
